You will be learning in depth about the whole process of putting together an equipment, how to programme it to work and such.

Students will be exposed to a mix of both mechanical and electrical related subjects including electric circuits, analog and digital electronic circuits, electrical machines, instrumentation, microcontrollers, Programmable Logic Controllers, industrial automation, pneumatics, hydraulics and process controls.
This programme focuses more on technical or hands-on skills which is favoured by the industry. You will undergo 6 months practical training in the final semester.

Some equipment around us is somehow related to electro-mechanical technology, whether we encounter them daily or watch it on television. Some simple examples are traffic lights, automatic car wash, conveyor belts at the airport or at sushi restaurants, robotic arms, and a lot of other equipment.
The courses offered under this programme are mainly assessed on hands-on lab work, reports and assignments which allow students to cultivate the working environment of a technologist or engineer, rather than just having the conventional student classroom experience.
